Wotif is an Australian-focused travel booking site worth checking if you want hotel-first searches and package deals across Australia & NZ. Best for last-minute hotel hunts and simple flight+hotel bundles — compare prices and cancellation terms before you book.
Deals hub
Dedicated 'Deals' pages highlight last-minute and seasonal discounts worth checking during search.
Package savings
Bundling flight + hotel can cut the total price — compare package vs separate bookings.
Instant confirmations
Bookings produce immediate e‑tickets/itineraries so you can book and go without waiting.
What Wotif is known for
Wotif started as a hotel specialist for Australian travellers and still shows broad local inventory: city hotels, regional motels, holiday parks and airport properties across Australia and New Zealand. If you prioritise finding multiple property types in one search (motels, self‑contained apartments, resorts), Wotif’s filters and map view make it easy to compare nearby options and nightly rates.
How to get the best price
Wotif’s best bargains usually appear in the 'Deals' area and via packaged flight+hotel searches — always check both standalone and bundle prices. Be flexible on dates and room types, sign up to Wotif emails for promo offers, and compare refundable vs non‑refundable rates: the cheaper room may not be worth it if your plans change. Also run a quick price check across competitors before finalising.
Cancellations, support and trust signals
There’s no one-size-fits-all return policy: cancellation and refund rules depend on the hotel or supplier and are clearly displayed during checkout. You’ll get an immediate booking confirmation by email; changes are usually handled in your bookings page or via customer support. Check the property’s cancellation window and any non‑refundable tags before you pay, and keep screenshots of confirmation for disputes.
